”Ecce Homo”

80x60cm charcoal pencil, sanguine pencil, cartridge paper

Lost, His blessed face bleeding, Christ arises lonely, gradually, His body still incomplete, from His grave.
His head down, concealed, as He didn’t want to see the unfair world He brought help and hope to.
The unfinished is here determinant. It makes this representation reaching Michelangelo’s last Pietàs, and is the only true mean to restitute the harrowing moment where the Son of God accepts His fate, returning from the kingdom of the dead to help once again those who betrayed Him.
